About Us

The library, acts as the main learning resource centre of the College and provides services and facilities to meet the requirements and objectives of the University. The central library is currently subscribing to more than 45 printed journals and various electronic journals through the UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium in different disciplines. Our library also gives Wi-Fi facilities for all users for their laptops and mobile phones.

The library operates with the following objectives:
• To support the learning process of the UG, PG and Ph. D. students through provision of knowledge/information.
• To meet knowledge/information needs of the faculty, and to support their teaching activities.
• To meet knowledge/information needs of the faculty and researchers to support their research activities.
To respond effectively, where possible, to the knowledge/information needs of the College.
The Library has good collection of subjects and having strong collection in the subject areas of Education & Others. In addition to the general & reference books, the collection also covers sufficient journals, reports, statistics and CDs. The readers are benefited with lending services, reading room facility, reference services, etc. Library offers following services to their users.

पुस्तकालय, कॉलेज के मुख्य शिक्षण संसाधन केंद्र के रूप में कार्य करता है और विश्वविद्यालय की आवश्यकताओं और उद्देश्यों को पूरा करने के लिए सेवाएं और सुविधाएं प्रदान करता है। केंद्रीय पुस्तकालय वर्तमान में विभिन्न विषयों में यूजीसी-इन्फोनेट डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी कंसोर्टियम के माध्यम से 45 से अधिक मुद्रित पत्रिकाओं और विभिन्न इलेक्ट्रॉनिक पत्रिकाओं की सदस्यता ले रहा है। हमारी लाइब्रेरी सभी उपयोगकर्ताओं को उनके लैपटॉप और मोबाइल फोन के लिए वाई-फाई सुविधा भी देती है।
पुस्तकालय निम्नलिखित उद्देश्यों के साथ संचालित होता है:
• ज्ञान/सूचना के प्रावधान के माध्यम से यूजी, पीजी और पीएचडी छात्रों की सीखने की प्रक्रिया का समर्थन करना।
• संकाय की ज्ञान/सूचना आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना, और उनकी शिक्षण गतिविधियों का समर्थन करना।
• संकाय और शोधकर्ताओं की अनुसंधान गतिविधियों का समर्थन करने के लिए उनकी ज्ञान/सूचना आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना।
जहां संभव हो, कॉलेज की ज्ञान/सूचना आवश्यकताओं पर प्रभावी ढंग से प्रतिक्रिया देना।
पुस्तकालय में विषयों का अच्छा संग्रह है और शिक्षा एवं अन्य विषय क्षेत्रों में मजबूत संग्रह है। सामान्य और संदर्भ पुस्तकों के अलावा, संग्रह में पर्याप्त पत्रिकाएँ, रिपोर्ट, सांख्यिकी और सीडी भी शामिल हैं। पाठकों को उधार सेवाएँ, वाचनालय सुविधा, संदर्भ सेवाएँ आदि से लाभ होता है। पुस्तकालय अपने उपयोगकर्ताओं को निम्नलिखित सेवाएँ प्रदान करता है।
